There are Best Friends Animal Society locations across the country. Working together with people like you, we’re getting pets out of shelters and into loving homes. It all started in 1984 when we opened Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, to save our best friends. Today, the Sanctuary remains the heart of Best Friends, but our reach now extends to Best Friends Pet Adoption Centers in cities across the nation — and it continues to grow.
